The System 440: Yermom Serif
I think this means I’m going to have to develop the typeface. Just think, Yermom on campaign posters. Yermom on album covers. Yermom’s ligatures, ascenders and descenders. And of course she has some mean drop caps.
Buy A Shirt And Kick Cancer’s Ass
If you buy the “Beards Turn Laziness into Awesomeness” shirt or the new “Moustaches Turn Lazy into Classy” shirt, I’ll donate $10 per shirt to Movember‘s prostate cancer research. So buy one! Or two! Or ten! The holidays are around the corner after all.

Listen to Me Prattle On
Fes of the Webcomic Beacon has started a newscast to cover the latest news that applies to webcomic fans and creators. The idea is to have a show somewhere between 2 weeks and once a month. We’ve recorded one so far and while it’s a little bumpy, I think it’s still worth a listen. Here’s the site, let me know what you think!

McSweeny’s: I’m Comic Sans, Asshole
When one person sends me something, I strongly consider posting it. When 5 people do, I give in already. Thanks to all of you Systemics who sent it my way, it is a good read.
Written from the perspective of one of the most reviled typefaces, McSweeny has put together a manifesto of sorts from Comic Sans.
Listen up. I know the shit you’ve been saying behind my back. You think I’m stupid. You think I’m immature. You think I’m a malformed, pathetic excuse for a font. Well think again, nerdhole, because I’m Comic Sans, and I’m the best thing to happen to typography since Johannes fucking Gutenberg.
Very much worth a read. LINK »

Wonderful World of Fonts
Systemic Chibby sent me (via systemcomic at gmail dotcom) this article on great typeface links throughout the Internets. It’s got lots of resources on finding out “what font is this?” to making ones from your handwriting. Thanks, Chibby! LINK.
