I am so proud of this.

Much like the last comic, this comic was written as part of a collaboration with my good friends Lindsay and Marty. I can’t say for sure which one of us wrote it, let’s just say we traded off words. Lindsay does amazing coffee-themed tote bags, wallets, belts and other such things. Marty does the nerd news blog Blast-O-Rama. Both are worth a click.

I’ve done this before too, though not with moving a logo. With changing colors, with resizing fonts, but mostly just saying I’ll turn down the music / TV. How about you?

A little more on Steve: He does a funny comic about video games, as well as (in my opinion) an even funnier comic that needs to be seen to be described called Omake Theater. I did a guest comic for him a while back that got him tons of press. Let’s hope this does the same so he can stop owing me so bad (just kidding Steve, we’re cool).

Just imagine what he does for two-sies. Btw, this comic goes out to my Internet cousin Dern of Hello With Cheese. I know we’ve talked about the long “GOAAALLLLL” being a punchline, and if I could find where/when I’d link to it (but I can’t).

The System has a long history of comics about the bathroom, as I have always found it such an interesting social construct. We treat it with such reverence, and yet it is a source of such humor. Check out the other comics, I think there are some great ones in there. And keep your eyes peeled for those tags. It’s a great way to surf around the site and as you can tell I try and reference as many relevant tags as I can.

Speaking of which, gentlemen: Have you ever been in a 1-person bathroom (known, as you remember, as a Pat-room) and discovered both a toilet and urinal within the room? What’s the point? If you’re only going to be in there by yourself, isn’t the urinal just a waste, and extra work to clean? The only reason I could think to put it in at all is to try and encourage less splash on the seat of the toilet. In which case, we can assume that the only reason that people put in both urinals and toilets is because they don’t trust us to have good aim.  Rather insulting, don’t you think?
