The System 741: The Problem With E-mail
This is a short one, probably more of an excerpt really. E-mails are a passive form of communication that people treat like an active one. And while it’s great to think of technology is being instantaneous, everyone checks e-mails (and expects responses) at a different pace.

The System 726: Never Ends
Seriously, it doesn’t. But you should email me anyway, I like hearing from you guys.
If you like podcasts, I was on Control Structure hosted by Systemic Andrew. I talk bout a bunch of stuff like the comic, inspiration, web design, and whatever it was I could think of on the amount of sleep I had. You should watch it here.
The System 671: Clicking
Every damn day.
The Kickstarter is still going. I could really use your help, I would love to get to $10k before it ends next friday. You want a book, right?

Have you heard about Goggle’s new features? They seem awesome!
Had a lot of fun with that “Goggle Mail” logo:
The System 552: Antisocial Networking
Something about this post description was messing with the RSS feed, so I had to delete it. It wasn’t that clever anyway.

Yes, Mom! Of COURSE I’m glad I helped you set up your email!
Which reminds me, I owe a call home…
The System 507: Google Plus Plus
I was collecting my thoughts on Google+, the new social media OMG media social twitter facebook friend place thing, and came across this XKCD comic. I get Mr. Munroe’s point (also seen above in the first three panels) but had to add on my take on the situation. I’m sure you’re already familiar with XKCD, but of course, credit where it’s due. Go check it out.
Also, posted this on my new Google+ (link to my profile). Yes, I signed up anyway. I mean hey, it’s not Facebook.
Post your Google+ thoughts in the comments.
Oh, and I do sell this t-shirt. Just sayin’.
The System 498: Infinibox
I was going for a kind of “Ouroboros of inboxes” vibe with that third panel. Pretty happy with it actually!
For those feeling like they can relate, check out this other comic I did about Sisyphus. Or, for that matter, this one on THE EMAIL PROCESS. What can I say, I have an Existentialist streak in me sometimes, though lately I’m thinking Stoicism is more my jazz. Funny since I don’t know how many Stoics would really go to a Coltrane show…
So in other news, I’m going out of town! For the next two weeks, I will be out of the country visiting the UK. While I’m not going to any sort of desolate lands (except Wales) you can expect little to no interaction from me in the meantime. That doesn’t mean the site won’t be updating, as some very kind people have provided guest comics via a last-minute plea on The Twitters. I hope you enjoy them, but if you do or don’t, you can expect more comics from Rosscott as well as the epic 500th comic upon my return on June 9th (though per our update schedule, June 10th).
And while this might not be clear, ALL HILARIAWESOME.COM ORDERS BETWEEN NOW AND JUNE 9th WILL NOT SHIP OR BE PROCESSED UNTIL MY RETURN. Feel free to order, but be aware that I can’t ship things while I’m gone, and this is, for the moment, a one-man operation.
The System 475: Bad News Flares
Posted without comment, but feel free to leave yours with your own experiences.
Leaving for SXSW tomorrow. Check out the post I wrote about it, especially if you’re going to be there.

The System 420: More Future World Problems
Seriously, how sick are you of #FutureWorldProblems right now? Not at all? GOOD. I figured we’d wrap up this week-and-a-half of guest comics with one more comic on topic from me, just to ease us back into our normal insanity. Thanks to Dern from Hello With Cheese, who was with me driving back from NJ when I wrote this, and contributed to it in the kind of back-and-forth writing I don’t normally get to do with other artists as much as I’d like.
Thanks again to everyone who submitted comics for #FutureWorldProblems! I still have a few that I know I haven’t posted, we’ll get to those soon. In the meantime, hope you enjoyed this comic and I’ll see you all on Friday.
Thanks to:
