A lot of you guys are nice enough to send me links to things. They’re generally pretty awesome but tend to build up in my inbox or sitting in a tab to remind me on my browser. Here’s a few of them:

A bad font pun thanks to Systemic Krystyna. LINK »

Systemic Nick sends in a link to a recent episode of The Daily Show. Around minute 4 watch out for a drawing that looks eerily similar to Jimmy the MurderdogLINK »

Systemic Cledwyn sends word of a typeface that is dynamically generated based on a photo of your face. Sadly not available for download, but the videos seem awesome. LINK »

That’s all for now. See you guys soon! Feel free to send more cool stuff my way, I may just post it.

The System 326: Ask Jimmy (First Kill)

Welcome to week 2 of “advice time”! While I’m out of town, Jimmy the Murderdog has volunteered to answer some questions. All these questions were asked through the official SystemComic Twitter account, which Jimmy often answers personally. Thanks to all who wrote in, and I’ll see you on the 18th! Meanwhile, enjoy comics this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!

Thanks to Systemic David for sending in this one. I know he asked one of the questions we answered last week, but it was such a good answer I wanted to make sure it saw the light of day!

The System 325: Ask Jimmy (Big Guns)

Today’s question comes from Systemic VenomV who asked through Twitter. Also props to Systemic Maggie who asked a similar question. Let’s face it, when it’s about Jimmy, it’s probably best to stick to what you know. Weaponry (and possibly grooming).

The System Guest Comic by Ian

I’ve had a really busy day, and haven’t had time to put a comic together. Luckily, Ian was kind enough to send me a guest comic a whiles back, and so here it is!  Comic by me on Friday.  Thanks, Ian!

I did a bad bad thing.  A while back, I asked everyone for their interpretation of Jimmy the Murderdog.  And while I posted a few, I never really posted the whole set. Gave people credit.  Oh, and for that matter, gave out the rewards.  Because I promised rewards and stuff.

So here we go, I’m making things right.  I’m fixing this. You can find all the entries to the contest here on this page. You can also find the results of the contest there as well. I wound up giving them this hackneyed location so the images would have enough room to be seen properly, but if you want to post about them come back to here.

SEE THE JIMMY THE MURDERDOG FAN ART CONTEST ENTRIES

As for future times I’ll ask for things, I promise you they won’t take me so long the next time. But go and enjoy these, people worked somewhere be tween a little bit and moderately hard on them.

The System Guest Comic: Double Whammy

We’ll be posting submissions sent in for the Jimmy the Murderdog fan art contest through the end of this week, focusing on the ones that were formatted in comics here in the main space.  We’ll also be posting them all together at the end of this week, so you guys can see the whole set of how awesome everyone is that sent things in.  To those of you who are new to the comic and looking for bathroom signs, I invite you to check out comics in the archive.

Today’s is an entry is actually TWO entries!  First up, in the comic area above, is comics from Systemic Doctor Taco (whom, as I understand, has no website to call his own).  He put together a few, one is posted above.  The rest will be posted this weekend, along with all the other entries.

The second of which is actually a video, courtesy of Systemics Christina and Kevin.  They put together a few of these, so I’ll be posting the rest in a segment I’m calling Murderdog Fridays for the next couple of weeks.  For now, here’s the first one.

UPDATE: I had to take it down due to bandwidth. I’ll be posting it on YouTube and it’ll be back up soon.

If you want more of these, let me know, and I’ll pass word onto Christina and Kevin.  Maybe they’ll oblige you and me.

The System Guest Comic: Steve Baird

We’ll be posting submissions sent in for the Jimmy the Murderdog fan art contest through the end of this week, focusing on the ones that were formatted in comics here in the main space.  We’ll also be posting them all together at the end of this week, so you guys can see the whole set of how awesome everyone is that sent things in.  To those of you who are new to the comic and looking for bathroom signs, I invite you to check out comics in the archive.

Today’s comes from Steve “Less than Three” Baird, whom I had the pleasure of hanging out with at Otakon and Connecticon this year.  His comic is funny, and he is improving in leaps and bounds from the guy I once met at Otakon handing out drawings of “hand turkeys” and bartering for whatever he could get.  Well done, sir.

The System Guest Comic: Bryan Prindiville

We’ll be posting submissions sent in for the Jimmy the Murderdog fan art contest through the end of this week, focusing on the ones that were formatted in comics here in the main space.  We’ll also be posting them all together at the end of this week, so you guys can see the whole set of how awesome everyone is that sent things in.  To those of you who are new to the comic and looking for bathroom signs, I invite you to check out comics in the archive.

Today’s comes from Bryan Prindiville, one of the hardest working webcomickers in the business.  A unique style you can always recognize, Bryan has worked on so many projects I’ve often lost track. Most recently, he has gotten away from his cute dog-drawing roots and into a little project with Darren “Eh Yo Dern” Gendron known as Hello with Cheese.  A great nonsensical comic that as of this week has made the jump from 1 to 5 days a week updates.  If you’re looking for a place to start, check out this Bob Ross one.  Classy.
