Systemic Mollie sends in this, from a calendar she spotted.  “As if you dont have enough but i saw this at bn in georgetown today.”  Link. UPDATE: broken link. But here’s a coupon for Calendars.com because they emailed me.

Systemic Greg has sent in this link, to a post on signage from Japan. Those Japanese, always coming up with some clever thing.  Link.

And finally, one I have been waiting to post for some time.  I call it “Don’t pee on a perforation”, but I’m sure you can do better than that.  Link.

So, how about them Systemics?  Pretty great for sending those things in, huh?  Feel free to join their ranks by sending one my way!  systemcomic at gmail.

Remember when I asked you guys to help post a rating of The System on RateItAll?  At the time, I promised an awesome image as thanks for the help.  I emailed them out last night, but wanted to let you guys know what you missed by not doing my bidding.  I’m afraid the little guy you see above is all you get, but I assure you there’s more.  Next time, you’ll just have to participate in further Systemic actions.

Quick Epilogue: The System is #1 on the RateItAll list of Webcomics! WOO!

Thanks for sending this in, Systemic Cristina!  If only they taught Hadouken classes…  Link.

picture-22

Systemic Lindsay sends in this one.  Senior Citizens have to cross somewhere.  Thanks. Link.

picture-32

Systemic Justin sends this one in.  But, since he only really did it to get out of buying me a beer, it doesn’t really count.  Link.

If you find anything like these (only better than Justin’s) send it over to systemcomic@gmail.com!

This is kinda a two-fer.  Systemic Cyclin’ Missy found her way to a webcomic I’d never heard of before.  “Hey!  I saw this fun webcomic by Surviving the World today.  Check it out!”  I did indeed, and you should too.  This btw kinda makes reference to the foundings of Chippy the ThundercloudLink.

An anonymous tipster sends in this post, apparently taken in some sort of Apple capacity?  It is unclear.  Link.

picture-91

Systemic Jamie (who, in case you’re curious, is responsible for the adorable and enthralling webcomic Sudden Valley) sends in this one. No link, because trust me that’s the best part of the pic.  Nice to see handicapped people going the other way.  Or is it mirrorland…

picture-10

Systemic Mat sends in this one.  It’s all about context, isn’t it?  Link.

Well, that should tide you guys over.  I just scheduled a few more monster SitW posts, so keep sending them into systemcomic@gmail.com!

When three Systemics all send you the same thing, you stop what you’re doing and take notice.  Thanks to Systemics Geoff, Noah and Tsai who all sent in links to this “unemployed toolkit”.  If you ask me they need to throw in a big-ass bowl of cereal and every episode of M*A*S*H.  The links I was sent were from Swiss Miss and Visual Culture, but the original can be found here.

picture-15

Thanks to Systemic Kimmers for sending in this one, all the way from Burining Man.  Link.

Did you know I’m on The Twitters?  Twice over, actually.  Once as just me, and another that feeds in blog posts with some occasional advice from Jimmy the Murderdog.  Anyway, Twitter user Hillel_Kitty sent this one into me over Twitter.  You can follow me, see what’s up, and so on over there.  If you let me know you’re a Systemic, I’ll be sure to follow you back.

This is a stand-alone brought to you by Systemic (and fellow webtoonist) Dern, responsible for Dernwerks.  It’s a graphic of how short the “pants” of NBA players were in the 70’s vs now.  The site is a mixture of great statistics on sports and great infographics about them.  Worth checking out if you are a sports fan, a design fan, or especially if you are some sort of venn diagrammed mixture.  Here’s a link to the main siteHere’s the image cropped above.  There’s also this one about the Green Monster.

Remember.  See something cool?  Send it to systemcomic@gmail.com!

Systemic Joe of Made Up Comic fame sends in this one.  Link.

picture-63

Systemic Katelyn sends in this more obscure finding.  Link.

picture-72

Systemic Mahcsig sends in this one, found on Fail Blog.  They have been finding alot our way (Fail Blog, not Mahcsig, though that’s cool too).  Looks like you shouldn’t rob people with mittens on. Link.

picture-82

Another from Systemic Kimers.  I wish I knew where she found this thing.  Hell, I wish I knew where half of you Systemics find these things!  Link.

Hope you’ve liked this round of System in the Wild!  There will be more, as soon as you send them in to systemcomic@gmail.com!

…and we’re back.  I’m sure some of you out there were just waiting, itching for some more System in the Wild love.  Well, I hate to disappoint!  While the posts have been flowing in as much as ever, I was under such a backlog of email from my brief sickness and the surrounding weeks of craziness (which probably explain the sickness) that I’ve gotten more than a bit behind schedule.  So to those who have sent things in, THANK YOU and sorry for the wait.

picture-1

First up is Systemic (and fellow webcomic artist) John.  An interesting article (and subsequent photos / signage) of a “person parking” area as part of an art installation exhibit piece-thing.  Link.

picture-21

I know what you’re thinking.  You’ve seen this image posted as a System in the Wild post before.  Yes, and while I couldn’t find the pic on short notice in the archive in short order, I remember we all wished it was larger and more hi-res.  Well thanks to Systemic Stephanie, our prayers have been answered!  Link.

picture-31

Systemic Hillel Kitty is back, and this time with one that made me wonder about the universe as a whole for a minute.

This dude in his inflated gimp suit looks a little like bathroom guy let himself go.

A little too true.  Link.

picture-62

Finally, one from my personal homie Systemic Ruben:

Never thought to send you this before! This is the mens restroom sign at Pixar.

Yes, that’s right.  The man has access to Pixar.  I won’t say how, but I’m more than a little jealous. Link.

Alright, and there you have it.  Another System in the Wild post.  Consider this the first in a new series of posts that will give you a chance to get involved.  Stay tuned to the site, and you can alays send emails with anything you want (like more of this stuff) to systemcomic@gmail.com!  If you have a website, I’ll post a link if you like.

A quickie, that I found myself, brought to you by Twitter and Threadless (a deadly combination if ever there was one).  I think I deserve some credit for this, even though I had nothing to do with it.  Link.
