Ska is great for deadlifts, since it's convincing you to 'pick it up, pick it up, pick it up'.

One thing I’ve learned about “gym rats” (aka “people in the gym all the time”) is that they can be just as nerdy as the nerds that talk about “fandom”. They’re just talking about muscle groups and lifting routines and stuff. So far, no talk of “shipping”. Which is probably for the best.

The System 539: The Nerd / Geek Debate, Settled

nerd noun
/nərd/
2. A term used by the self-described to imply extremely awesome knowledge or obsession over a particular topic.
3. A term to put in your dating profile to attract the geekiest nerds.
(SEE ALSO: geek, only swap wherever it says ‘geek’ for ‘nerd’ and vice versa, that’s kinda the joke here)

I listen to a lot of The Nerdist Podcast, and have heard the debate rage on between what exactly is a “geek” versus what exactly is a “nerd”. Even sites like ThinkGeek, BoardGameGeek, and The Nerdist pretty much give you an idea about where some people stand. Hence this. Let’s unite under the umbrella of one word, used for good. Not evil. The nerd/geek. We can geek/nerd out about it all day and all night, or we can move on and use that time better talking about how cool Doctor Who is or something. And he is. Oh, he is.

DISCUSS: How do you define “nerd” and “geek”? No dictionary definitions, Systemics. Keep it to your own interpretations.
