Over at BoingBoing, there’s a great article about the typeface used throughout the Android 4.0 interface (or “Ice Cream Sandwich” as it’s known), and the controversy surrounding it’s Frankenstein-like nature. Also, I consider typography the unsung art. Something you only notice when it’s wrong, and never when it’s done right. This article talks about this exact process. Check it.

TV Devouring Commenced

I posted the other day looking for shows to watch, and the outpouring of replies was HUGE! I’m going to follow up on all that later today, but before I forget to say it, THANK YOU to everyone for getting back to me.

Listen to Me Prattle On

Fes of the Webcomic Beacon has started a newscast to cover the latest news that applies to webcomic fans and creators. The idea is to have a show somewhere between 2 weeks and once a month. We’ve recorded one so far and while it’s a little bumpy, I think it’s still worth a listen. Here’s the site, let me know what you think!

Thanks to Systemic and long-time friend of The System Marty Fn Day for sending me this amazing poster. Well he sent me a link to the poster. If he actually sent me the POSTER that would be way cooler. Hear that, Marty? Huh?

It’s a painstakingly detailed image of almost 1,000 different zombie references from movies, books and games all in one great poster.
