Beards: Turning Laziness into Awesomeness
Since starting up HilariAwesome.com, there are a series of shirts I knew I wanted to do straight away. Kinda like how Pixar planned out their first 5 movies in one big lunch meeting, here is my Wall•E. The best shirt ever. Based on this comic, here is a shirt for people who have beards, love them, or just like awesome shirts.
Speaking of awesome, I cannot take full responsibility for this shirt. Fellow beard enthusiast and amazing illustrator Bryan Prindiville is the hand that actually drew the final product. How amazing is that?
Right now the shirt is in PREORDER, which means that:
- It’s cheaper.
- It will take a little longer to get it to you.
- Ordering it helps me order more.
- You are in on the ground floor of awesome.
- It helps me afford a better bottle of scotch to “pay” the illustrator.

Cool Comic Find: Mr. Oblivious
Systemic Juanamedina (who herself is an amazing illustrator) sent me a link to the work of Mr. Oblivious (Mark Gonyea). Great little illustration comics. It’s really cool! LINK.

Name That Movie!
Paul Rogers at Drawger posts a set of 6 drawings featuring scenes from a movie, and you have to guess what the movie is. Any guesses on this one? Here’s a hint. Moses supposes his toeses are roses. (NOTE: this may prove to be false.) The blog has great art and is a fun game to play. Check it out! LINK.

Abstract City: Bio-Diversity
Illustrations done with cut leaves. I’d bet money they are all hand-done and not photoshopped. Plenty more where this one came from. For that matter, the other posts in the same blog are worth your time (after you read every comic I’ve written). LINK.

Daily Drop Cap
very day, Jessica Hische beautifully illustrates a letter to be used as a drop cap. Wonderfully diverse and unique illustration and typography all at the same time. And a new one every day! I’m pretty enticed by the whole thing, I gotta say. LINK.
