The System 540: Too Bad This Is True

It’s like its own paradox.

The System 539: The Nerd / Geek Debate, Settled

nerd noun
/nərd/
2. A term used by the self-described to imply extremely awesome knowledge or obsession over a particular topic.
3. A term to put in your dating profile to attract the geekiest nerds.
(SEE ALSO: geek, only swap wherever it says ‘geek’ for ‘nerd’ and vice versa, that’s kinda the joke here)
I listen to a lot of The Nerdist Podcast, and have heard the debate rage on between what exactly is a “geek” versus what exactly is a “nerd”. Even sites like ThinkGeek, BoardGameGeek, and The Nerdist pretty much give you an idea about where some people stand. Hence this. Let’s unite under the umbrella of one word, used for good. Not evil. The nerd/geek. We can geek/nerd out about it all day and all night, or we can move on and use that time better talking about how cool Doctor Who is or something. And he is. Oh, he is.
DISCUSS: How do you define “nerd” and “geek”? No dictionary definitions, Systemics. Keep it to your own interpretations.

Comics will be posted when schedule improves.
Apologies for the horrible updating schedule (what updating schedule?) lately. Working basically three jobs including the comic can sometimes be a bit much, and unfortunately it’s been last on my list. More comics are on their way soon, and by “soon” I mean this coming week. Thanks for being patient, Systemics!

You can order this on a poster here. You probably should, it’s obviously pretty great. And if you agree with the sentiment, you probably would like this shirt too:
Apologies for the sporadic schedule of late. Life happens sometime, but I’m striving to get back on track. Hang in there, Systemics.
