Yesterday morning on Twitter, I had the brilliant idea for a whole new brand of humor, the FUTURE WORLD PROBLEM. Above you see some examples, but there’s plenty more. In fact, as a hashtag on Twitter it is still going strong at last check, with well over 200 entries. I’m posting as many as I can (and favorites) over in yesterday’s post here, all of which are from Twitter.

#FutureWorldProblems Contest!

I like this new theme so much, I’m going to give you guys a chance to get in on the action! Post in the comments of this post some of your own or post a link to a ‘future world problem’ comic, drawing, sketch or video. It has to be here on the post so I can keep track of it, though I totally encourage trying ones out on Twitter and labeling them #futureworldproblems. Entries are good through Sunday at midnight EST, and then I’ll pick a winner. The winner gets his / her pick of any 1 shirt from the HilariAwesome store. A runner up will get a print of any one comic from The System’s archive, just like you can buy in the HilariAwesome store.

That gives you some idea of how it works. As of now it’s still going strong, so let’s use just the plural #futureworldproblems moving forward, and see what we can come up with! Add them in the commentsor on Twitter.

I was looking for more analogies. Got any to add?

It’s an 8-bit game based on the cult midnight movie so-bad-its-good The Room. It’s a great movie in itself (well, in the same way Birdemic is a great movie) but the game is what gets me. It’s thorough. They have all the scenes broken down into a really fun little game, with Final Fantasy style dialogue and fighting, and even an 8-bit chiptune-style soundtrack. The real joy of it is the places the writers got snazzy with the things that were off screen. Be sure to explore what’s on the next block, what’s inside Denny’s room, and talk to all the people on the street. I got pretty far into it but had to give up. As my friend Cledwyn had to say, I got fed up with this wurld.
