First off, for my mom that will read this comic, please don’t ask me about this one. But here’s a link to a definition of Netflix and chill, so you don’t have to ask me about it.

So this post was made almost a week ago. Unfortunately, my web host switched servers and it was lost for days to everyone but me. Luckily, we’ve finally gotten it fixed.

So, now we can actually get back on track. With comics and stuff. So here you go!

Thanks to my friend Kerry, who was complaining about sites being “in beta” to me. Truth is, “beta” used to mean something. Nowadays it just means “don’t judge me based on this thing you’re seeing it’s going to get better I promise”, which is something that I pretty much wish I could say all the time.

This works because I only semi-studied in my Semiotics seminar.

Speaking of that giant toothbrush, I found out while researching this comic (yes, this comic took research) that there is a place online for ALL your giant novelty item needs. Need a giant hamburger? Giant toothbrush? GIANT WHISK? They gotcha covered. The best part? There’s videos. With a theme song. A-la “Will it Blend?” comes “Is it big?” (SPOILER ALERT: Yes.)

There are PLENTY more “Is It Big?” videos where that came from, if you dare. The song is “Big Time” by Peter Gabriel, which gets pretty stuck in your head. Be warned. Btw if someone wants to buy me the Giant Novelty Cup and Saucer, I will drink a cup of coffee out of it. Or hell, any of them. Who doesn’t need more giant novelty things in their life?

As far as the comic goes, this falls under the True Story tag. I have what is known as a “Wee Apartment” (under 300 sq. ft) and with a place that small, anything left out or foreign objects are automatically in the way of other things. It seems only fair that if something proportionally in the way in my tiny place should have an equivalent size taken up at her place in return, no? It’s the law of equivalent exchange! Or maybe I’ve been watching too much animé.

Happy new year, all! Apologies for the rough holiday season. Between the snowpocalypse and some heavy work on an upcoming project, the comic I know has been a little sporadic. Consider us BACK ON TRACK for the new year!

As we know, relationships can neither be created nor destroyed. Only transferred in power. My friend Kerry pointed this out to me yesterday, and I can only hope it’s true. Because one of my friends just broke with someone (I feel bad for ya, buddy) so maybe the rest of us now stand a chance. Anyone else feel like they are falling prey of this rule, better or worse?
