No news would be good news.

He's here to make friends.

Bike News…

If you hadn’t heard, my bike was stolen. And then probably sold. And then showed up near my office, as though someone had biked it to work and locked it up. So now it’s locked up, with my lock and someone else’s, downstairs. You can read all about it here.

Super Art Fight News!

You’ve heard me speak—at length—about Super Art Fight. After being asked if it will ever come to the midwest, the west coast, Europe, etc., we have good news. We’ve brought it online. So we’ve brought it everywhere.

You can now watch Super Art Fights online in our first Online Invitational Tournament. Watch this episode below, and you can vote for the winner here.

We’re releasing a new episode every Tuesday for the next month, so you can follow all the action and choose the winners of each bracket.

The System 741: The Problem With E-mail

This is a short one, probably more of an excerpt really. E-mails are a passive form of communication that people treat like an active one. And while it’s great to think of technology is being instantaneous, everyone checks e-mails (and expects responses) at a different pace.

So now you know what to do.

Bad News About Otakon

I was hoping to be at Otakon this weekend. I bought a table and everything. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend due to some family issues. Have to put family first, gang. Sorry.

Good News About Small Press Expo

Or as I call them,

Today would be John Venn (creator of the Venn Diagram)’s 180th birthday. There’s even a “Google Doodle” celebrating him.

If you really like Venn Diagrams, check out these other comics with Venn Diagrams in them. And even on a shirt!

Seriously had to look up a flange.

This one was last week’s Medium post, but I added some details and tweaked it into a poster design. It’ll be for sale at HilariAwesome.com soon.

Speaking of which, this week’s Medium post is pretty awesome. It’s called “What is the best gift to get someone?” and here’s an excerpt:

This started as last week’s Medium post, but I cut out the crappy bits and made it a little better. This week’s Medium post is pretty freakin’ sweet.

Keep reading at Medium.com »

About a month ago I was talking with Jason “I Love Charts” Charts and he invited me to join his collective over at Medium.com. What that means is every Wednesday I will post a chart to Medium.com, and then a week later I can post it wherever else that I want (such as here on my own site). Since I make a fair number of charts anyway, seemed like a win-win situation.

The first of these posts (the above is just the first part) is now up at Medium for you to read. Or, if you’re feeling lazy or don’t like Medium, it’ll be up here in a week. Just know clicking the link and reading the comic actually gets me paid for my work, so I’d much appreciate the click-through.
